For over 20 years, I’ve had a blast working in the promotional products industry in the Greater Madison, Wisconsin, area. After all these years, I still love the hunt of finding the perfect product for my clients’ employees, events and trade shows. I’m fortunate to have two grown kids who don’t live in my basement after college, but actually work in their field of study. When I’m not working, you will probably find me out on the water sailing with my wife Tina, family and friends, or as a coxswain with the U.S.C.G. Auxiliary.

I started in the award industry in 1974 when I opened Gold Star Trophies. In response to customer demand, I started offering advertising specialties, which we now call promotional products, in 1979. In 2000, I got my Adventures in Advertising franchise and continued until joining The Promo Agency in 2015. I have my C.S.A. designation and my real estate license and reside in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

I am a 30-year marketing veteran with experience on both the buying side and selling side of the industry. I earned my CAS Designation in 2003 my BASI Designation in 2015 and won an Award of Excellence from the Southwest University’s District IV. I specialize in areas that include entertainment, banking, healthcare, construction, government (city, state and Federal), agriculture and education. My work includes creating marketing strategies for small and large employee events, new product launches, mergers, creating and managing new logos, client and industry golf tournaments, trade shows, conferences and safety programs. Most of my clients are in the Central and Southwest United States. I was raised in Oklahoma City with that Southern fun spirit. I have been married for 41 years and enjoy travel, golf and outdoor events with family, clients and friends.

From the smallest projects to efforts for Fortune 100 companies, I enjoy working directly with clients on developing their best "Physical Marketing Strategy.” I have lived in Holland, Michigan, my entire life and love being outdoors with my wife of 29 years, Dee. We have four children and a dog. I like to challenge myself by running half-marathons, marathons and triathlons.

I have been in the promotional products industry for more than 25 years. Prior to that I owned a gift shop and was in retail for 10 years. That background has proven very valuable to my customers, and led to work on many board of trustee, speaker and retirement gifts. Most of my clients come to me by referrals because I take a personal interest in their projects. My goal is to present their event in the very best light. I joined the print and promotional products industry more than 20 years ago following several years as a marketing and sales executive for suppliers to the men's clothing industry. Working with my wife, Paula, we solicited clients in New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. Our motto was "We'll make you look great." Our clients ranged from dotcom startups to multinational manufacturers and national nonprofit organizations. My expertise includes apparel production and design, and I am a former executive director of the International Association of Clothing Designers and Executives (IACDE). I have authored several technical articles for apparel publications and won a Merit Award from the Art Directors Club of New York. My interests include auto shows, playing golf badly, and spending time with my family.

Jim and Nancy Sheppard

After spending almost 25 years in San Antonio, we bit the bullet to get away from the heat and enjoy the beauty of Arizona’s mountains and high desert atmosphere. Today, we are just an hour away from Sedona and two hours from Phoenix. We joined the print and promotional products industry as franchise owners in 1999. We have sat on numerous committees over the years, including Marketing and Owner Committees, and thoroughly enjoyed assisting other franchise owners with our creative and promotional expertise. We have been blessed to receive six of the coveted Gold Pyramid Awards through PPAI for creativity, an honored ASI Spirit Award, and numerous other awards, including six President Awards. Our partnership with The Promo Agency affords us the ability to work with some of the best owners in the industry. Jim enjoys golf, golf and more golf in his spare time. Nancy remains a workaholic, running an Etsy-based business when time permits.

I have over 15 years of experience in the promotional products industry. My passion is customer service. I want to make sure that every customer is treated like our first. My motto is “Make the customer happy no matter what!” In my spare time, my husband and I own and operate Olden Organics, a 100-acre Certified Organic fresh produce farm located just outside of Ripon, Wisconsin. I am also the proud mother to three Australian Shepherds who keep me very busy. I love hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and of course farming. On Saturday mornings, you can always find me selling produce at one of our local farmers markets.

Also, I love to shout 'War Eagle' and support my Auburn Tigers!  A fun fact most won't know is that I auditioned for The Amazing Race reality show, as my second love is travel (after fishing, of course!).
